Creating a PVP Assassin w/o ever PVEing
Assassins intrigue me. They seem like a lot of fun, but as a monk... I really don't like the majority of them in my mission groups :P
However, I would love to play one, <especially> in PVP where they really shine. Coming in with burst damage throwing on 3 conditions... it always gets me focused My question is about gaining skills. Most of the skills in the game surely aren't included in the PVP char maker, especially the good elites. Do I have to make an assassin and take him to 20 in order to gain all of the skills I'll want for PVP? Or is there some way around it? For my Monk, I have switched from /Mes to /War. I also have an E/N, and a W/Mo (planning him for PVP, so soon to be /E or something...) Maybe I should just switch my warrior to an assassin secondary to gain some of these skills? Thanks for any help. |

You can unlock any skill in the game with Balthazar faction points. Just PVP a lot to get them.
Or go the */A route in PVE. That works too. |
